Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated Production Associate to join our client's team. Independently operates production equipment in various production areas with minimal supervision. Additionally, is capable of holding other positions within the plant and also taking on a leadership role as needed.
Job Description
Operate a mixer and three rolling mills.
Operate the collection/weighing equipment.
Make operational adjustments as needed.
Troubleshoot equipment.
Operate the push/release units.
Pack/label finished goods.
Operate canning lines.
Run the tub washer.
Competent and able to operate all aspects of the SAP inventory function and perform inventory cycle counts.
Rotate inventory and minimize sub-containers.
Operate forklift.
Read, understand and follow batch tickets to meet production schedule.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Participate on plant teams and act as a trainer to employees and/or new hires
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor, lead employee or other member
Always wear appropriate PPE.
Keep work area clean and work safely.
Actively participates in all facility safety initiatives, programs and training.
Follows all standard operating procedures to perform the duties of this position.
Remains current on ISO procedures
Required Skills
High school diploma/GED
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
Strong computer skills
Able to learn new tasks and assignments, willing to remain flexible and support change.
Must have good math, oral and written communication skills. (Must work with percentages.)
Experience and knowledge in safety.
