This position is part of the Service Organization PALL Austria located in Vienna and will be fully remote. At PALL, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Onsite Service including calibrations, repairs, preventive maintenance, upgrades and installations.
Observe and follow Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and internal policies and processes as required for field service reports and job-related submissions pertaining to spare parts: ordering, usage, returns, physical count, etc.
Collaborate with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
Increase technical competency level servicing instruments by completing in-person or online training courses.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Possess a degree in a Technical or Engineering field in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical or similar, or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
3+years experience as Field Service Engineer in troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating complex devices.
Good knowledge of German an English
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
Ability to travel – list specifics 70% travel, overnight, within EMEA
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Outstanding communication skills, ability to work in a team
